We aren't too rough yet but wheel covers are advised if you don't want bent spokes, I would advise some good strong wheels as you can take side impacts sometimes. Nouveau taco'd a wheel last week.!

Most people just use an Estate agents For Sale sign boards, zip tied onto the spokes.

Things should start warming up again in Bristol this month with lighter evenings and even the council have decided to put on the lights at Dean Lane, evening sessions should be the go before too long. Watch this space.

Any news on the Odd Down venue?

i've now found a new court to use. just need to run the idea past the youth centre it is attached to. it's in the classic style walled basketball court, complete with chain link fence and graffiti all over the place. proper urban polo at its best.

i'm guessing you're talking about the place in my street?  up in odd down?  quite a bit of broken glass on the court usually, and probably the odd needle … it's a bit, erm, gritty up here!

Used to play a bit of bike polo when I lived in London, keen to get back into it again!
