I think my Peugeot will be a bit shadowed by the bob jackson..

i want to put a teal rear wheel on the frame and have a white front but the halo has better hubs and might be more practical on the rear- decision, decision!  i have a week of from work next week so think i might have to compete the project- and give it a test drive!

that tyre i am getting off you will look nice against the teal wheel

Just to lower the tone..

Re-trying making use of the old frame that I drilled the BB out of a while back. Rusty winter project.

………….

I'll be riding it saddle-less as I've heard that's the big thing for 2010.

Edit: I'm sure everyone else knows to click pics to enlarge them on here. Nice feature. Zoom in on that rust

Some progress. it's not going to be pretty but I borrowed a wheel to roll around on it and think I'm going to enjoy it as an alternative >

.

Front wheel is borrowed. Need different stem and would prefer different pedals as I have thes on my other bike too. Looking for something different. Any suggestions? Thinking maybe something like MKS platforms or whatever I can find similar second hand. Bars need cutting down a bit.

Keeping the rust for a while although a bit might be covered by white scotchlite.

from my points of view (which may not count for much but anyway) quill stem, mks pedals, smiliar front wheel to the back – will make the whole bike look really nice and complete. i do like the rustic look!!! powercoating would make the bike 'pimp' tho

Thanks guys.

Ed- T -  Re the colour I was thinking of changing it going for something a bit more "essex" looking as my bike I have now is black but not sure I have so many ideas such as Purple  but may re do my bike I ride all the time this colour or Matt soft touch black feels like rubber well S&M, Gun metal gray or Yellow. What would you do?

Something like this I was thinking, with the white bars etc.

G-Bitch – That is just what I am going to do with this bike, drops and tyre change then use it on the track. Well looking forward to that.

Sion – The size is a 55cm seat tube with a 57cm top tube I think. I got this well cheap to as it has been used but still a nice super light bike.

It's so hard choosing a colour, purple is pretty cool, I am sure any colour will look good in the end though!?

if you go for something neutral like gunmetal grey then you can always jazz it up with coloured bits n bobs that are easy to change if you fancy a change.

strip it back to raw aluminium and polish it up?

LMAO – "more Essex" that's a classic. Does that mean you'll be riding along with one hand on the bars, leaning over to one side and pulling your best 'I'm a badass' face?

beat to it by george. i like the idea of gold and black colour scheme- its been done before but not with great results.

i was thinking of doing an Egyptian inspired build with custom part but cant afford it at the moment and not researched it properly also…

egyptian type across the seat-tube with they eye of horus as a headbadge (for example)

^seat-tube

^headbadge

its probably to ambitious for me tho.
