mrs jezzzer is off to the big town yonder east today largely for visa-related reasons, but all being well she'll be returning to Bath with this

It's a Rudi Altig bike from sometime in the 70s, as far as anyone can make out.  She hasn't decided yet whether to keep it 10-speed or to go s/s.  I think a nice 3-speed conversion would be a good option.  That and some alu rims.

i've been looking for a lightweight three-speed for a while; pretty much perfect for bombing around town.

i'd also like to smoke a few roadies up park street on it, just for shits and giggles. in fact, this is probably the biggest reason as to why i want one.

Hi

I've just signed up to the site and new to fixed gear bikes. Would have loved to have fixed up an old bike, you guys have some amazing looking bikes on here, but decided for my first venture into fixed gear to go for an off the peg bike and maybe modify it a bit. Went for this 2010 fuji track classic, I've been riding it the last few days and loving it! I've fitted a front grab brake and plan to get get the gearing sorted and a new saddle.  I'm moving to Bristol next month so I might see you guys around, I might even get involved in the Alleycat race in a few weeks.

It's just another part of BMX technology being brought into the fixed gear world! Bloody hipsters!

Nah, Swedeee, it's gunna be rad having you down here, I try & get over to Bristol as much as I can, with the Mash for distance rides & the Charge for tricking/beating round town. Not too keen on the trick thing, so much easier on my 26″er tbh! But we'll see how I get on!

There's a handful of tricksters in Bris, so you'll meet somemore fo sho, but loads of general fixed riders who ride around/hang around town most nights, so all is good!

When you moving down & where you gunna live?!
