A ride out to join them for the end of their ride into Bristol might be good? Anyone know of their route. If it's in through Bath we could join them there?

Having done Reading – Bath predominantly along the canal path in the winter months, it can be pretty wet and muddy in places.  I'd vote for a road route.

So this will be upon us before we can say "i wish i put a few more miles in". To make sure that doesn't happen i recommend everyone gets in at least two 50-60+ rides in before the big one. Everyone is more than capable of making the distance but it would be nice to do it in comfort. you may think your hipster track frame is the most comfortable bike you've ever ridden but make sure it is after 40 odd miles. Any bike is gonna feel fine after 10 miles, some bikes only start to get snug after 10 miles but give it 40 and any little niggle will start to rear it's big ugly head and make an enjoyable ride a pain in the ass or somewhere.

Of course someone's bound to turn up in jeans, vans and a hooded top and ride along whistling through a 'tache whilst holding onto 10″ bars with only one toe strap on 84″ gearing and wonder what the fuss is all about. Cheltenham crew there's your invite!

 G-Bitch, you in kid?
