i think everyone should be heading to the finishing point around 3o'clock taking into account that it will start at 2. direction wise going into Clifton first is better as your doing the harder bit first wile you full of energy.

AFTER PARTY / SKID COMP / TRACK STAND COMP
Once we are all in we will have a Skid Comp and track stand comp to see who is champ of champs,,,,and then we have to deliver all the presents to the little good children of Bristol. The last bits a lie.
Once all that is done we are having an after party at Start the Bus Pub/Club which many of you already know of! Mullerred Mullet Cider for me.

Or you could look at it that you have a good warm up on the longer flatter stretches going the other way and hits the hills across to Clifton with your blood running up to speed at the end.
Or zig zag between them all and take some time to stop and smell the roses… enjoy the journey, not the destination. Maybe not.

CHECKPOINT XMAS CHALLENGES-drunk n disorderly
2 of my checkpoint people have let me know they want to set a checkpoint challenge. nothing too tricky or embarassing, in fact they are both one of the easiest things we could do - drink booze. George Sportif at Whitchurch is going to make you drink a tiny amount of EGG NOG also known as advocaat. Its a 70's Xmas tradition i think from Holland.
Anthony at Clifton Cathedral is going to make you drink holy red wine (shot size only).

I just got back from a half day off work ride in the high hill fog to Dundry and back-amazing winter riding.s'ok i am not changing the route….
