i can't say i know of anyone that will be riding SS. fixed will be faster. shouldn't matter anyway. no snobbery here. (though i would choke handing over prizes to a big freewheeled jessy!)
Cab- The Bell will be exactly as you remember. one of the few unchanged pubs in Bath. very bike friendly and a good selection of booze.

just so ya know, on saturday you will be given a spokecard. on the back will be a list of checkpoints with a tick box next to it. you must get each of the first four checkpoints checked before you come up to the final checkpoint at Alexander park. there you will have to check in after each of the three laps. this is to avoid confusion of trying to keep tabs on 30 riders laps.
IT IS UP TO YOU TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING!!!!!!

meet at 2pm Sydney gardens. Race starts 2.30
if you get lost we'll be in The Bell on Walcot St by about 5pm for the prize giving and a well deserved pint or two.

georgie boy- could you do the Alice park checkpoint? we'll be at Sydney gardens just before two.
as it's nearing the end of the financial year the local council has got busy spending their budget on roadworks. they're flamin' everywhere. the main part affecting our race will be the dual-carriageway heading out to the Manor rd checkpoint. best way to avoid this is to head along the cycle track to saltford. probably quicker anyway. up to you. ride safe out there!!
