Couldn't believe it when he rolled into Exmouth still looking extremely casual. And those hand-shredder BMX grips. Mad fucker.
But I don't know if it's had some deleterious long term effect though – last I heard, he'd given up drinking AND biking, and seems to have disappeared altogether…

incidentally i'm still looking for someone to do the night-time tea stop for this in North Curry, so if any of you chaps know anyone that might be interested then let me know. Turn up at 11pm with a big vat of veggie pasta sauce, cook pasta, serve it to hungry riders along with drinks and bananas and such. Happy for whoever steps in to keep the money, it normally turns over a tidy profit… bit of a dog working all night though

the train from exmouth to exeter is a little two carriage rattler, you can get loads of bikes on there. it's near the seafront. then get train from exeter.
or ride back.

So are you lads all still going? Somehow it looks like I am in for this too. Meeting in Clifton in my non sexy non hipster lycra and then head out on the ride. Had a chat with Gary this week and he said about getting the train home to Bristol from Exeter is the best thing. He said it was about £11 ish pounds to get back.
Oh well he goes nothing…….see you on the other side

ello, It's Joe (from Cheltenham).
I've not been to any events/alleycats on this forum since the Chrismas race, but tommorrow I'll be riding the Exmouth Exodus (with gears). Do say 'hello' if you spot me, and have a good ride.
BTW there is a train from Exmouth —> Exeter at 9:10am. There are 2 later trains in the morning but they take longer.
