'ello everyone!

Is anyone free / up for a spot of filming bicycle fun tommorow (Sunday)?

Jason and me are going to be riding in his car, filming out of the window, with the aim of filming some repetitions of the same route up & down to get lots of footage!

I'm thinking about heading over the suspension bridge and heading Tyntesfield way, maybe down wier lane – to get some shots of a greener Bristol, which is a big feature of it for me personally. It may get a bit repetative, riding up and down stretches of road, but thats the magic of cinema (so i've heard)

Anyways, if you're down for it then I'm meeting Jason at 11am in the Car Park by Muddock

Give me a shout if you need to on 07814 485 405

Cheers, Gav

Oh yeah, and if anyone reads this in time, bring a spare t-shirt / top with you (I sound like im organizing a school trip) but It's just so we can swap halfway through filming – et voila, makes it look like it was filmed on a different day!

That is an old snowboard trick with Filming. Make sure they are not the same shade as the background to what you are filming too nice and bright it always good. See you at 11am outside mud dock.

nice one for today guys – the footage all looks great, even better than I'd hoped and the end shot, the tracking one alongside the green hills was absolutely perfect – all worth it for that shot alone!

Lets do it again soon!

Gav — you got a magic arm now then! Set up looks good. Be interested to see what the DSLR moving image is like.

@Adam – I borrowed one from work! The DSLR footage is cracking, beats my previous 3CCD camera!

Here's that shot, the best one from the day, where it all came together…

thats awesome gav – surprised how stable it is – does it have built in stabilistation or was it just that it was bright enough to use a higher frame rate (as opposed to shutter)?

yeah – i had read that – just surprised that there wasnt much road buzz/feedback on the arm – great stuff though – seems to work really well

It was a really, really smooth road to be honest – but other stuff on other roads was similarly quite smooth! I was holding onto the camera at the same time though, so it added an extra bit of stability AND the lens has got stabilizer!
