As some people were nursing hangovers and some people were thinking “who the hell is that in my bed” a small group of riders from the forum (Bish, Gary, Ed T, Jake, Gav and me) were out in the fresh Sunday morning air on their bikes for the first in what I hope we be lots of days filming in the good spring weather for the ongoing project boikzmoind by Jamfoactory and Makinov.
This time it was not your normal lets go riding and let Gav try and get some footage as we go, this time it was a lets go to this hill, that hill, lets ride this part of the road with the idea of set footage at the end of the day.
To add to this we had some extra kit than normal in the form of a car! That’s right Gav and myself have been try to get some good follow footage from the car for some time now. Armed with his new flash video camera (Don’t ask me what it is but its cool) the car and a camera clap on arm thing attached to thru the sun roof we were off.
After a short learning curve and Gav nearly falling out of the sunroof the set up was sorted and some great footage was starting to roll in.
We both know that we have to do this again and again over the summer to get some banging footage with lots of the riders but it was great fun and I hope you like what you see in the end.
Now the only issue is my car died on Monday but fingers crossed I can fix that this week. So here’s to the good weather riding and filming in the sun
